Roland Schröter

Roland Schröter (born October 16, 1927 in Lübeck ; † 1990 ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

Roland Schröter was in the Navy during World War II . He became a German teacher at the Arndt-Gymnasium Dahlem , and later he was the deputy director of the Fritz-Karsen-Schule . In the Berlin election in 1967 he was first elected to the Berlin House of Representatives, but two days later he turned down the mandate because the District Assembly (BVV) in the Steglitz district elected him to the District Councilor for Public Education. He remained a district councilor until 1985.
