The Mount Dart is a 1695 m high mountain in the East Antarctic Mac Robertson Land . In the Athos Range of the Prince Charles Mountains, it rises 2.5 km southeast of Mount Dwyer .
Aerial photographs taken in 1965 as part of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions (ANARE) were used for mapping. The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia (ANCA) named it after John Robert Dart, a radio operator on an ANARE team to explore the Prince Charles Mountains in 1969.
