Roland Ulber (* 1968 ) is a German chemist . He teaches bioprocess engineering at the Technical University of Kaiserslautern . He completed his chemistry studies at the University of Hanover in 1994 with a diploma. After receiving his doctorate in 1996 at the Universities of Hanover and Münster , he completed his habilitation in 2002 at the University of Hanover in technical chemistry . Since 2004 he has headed the bioprocess engineering department at the Technical University of Kaiserslautern . Call for professorships at the Technical University of Braunschweig and theHe did not follow the Technical University of Munich . Roland Ulber has been involved in DECHEMA e. V. Since 2014 he has been the chairman of the DECHEMA Biotechnology Association. In addition to his professorship, he has been the managing director of the Center for Teacher Education at the TU Kaiserslautern since 2017.
