Roland Weibezahl , also Hephestion Roland Const. Weibezahl and A. Waibezahl (*  1817 ; †  1871 ), was a German lithographer and draftsman .

life and work

Together with the lithographer Rudolph Ferdinand, Weibezahl delivered 72 lithographs and drawings that depict the city of Meissen in its time. He created numerous lithographic landscape, military and portrait drawings as well as cityscapes, for example of Halle, Gotha, Nuremberg and Leipzig. He worked in Leipzig around 1840. According to the Dresden address book , he lived in 1868 on the ground floor of Antonstrasse 1 in Dresden's Antonstadt . Among other things, he illustrated Ludwig Uhland's poem Die Kapelle .
