Rolandas Janickas
Rolandas Janickas (* 1966 in Pašventupys , Anykščiai district ) is a Lithuanian politician who has been mayor of the Ukmergė district since 2015 .
Life
After graduating from high school in Taujėnai in 1984 , he graduated from the Ulyanovsk Military School in 1988 and became an engineer. He served in Kodyma near Odessa in the Ukraine . In 1991 he came to Lithuania. In 1991 he worked in Ukmergė . In 1995 he became a reserve first lieutenant . 1997–2001 he worked at AB “ Lietuvos telekomas ”. From 2007–2011 he was Deputy Director of Administration in Ukmergė. 2009–2012 he studied at the Gedimino technikos universitetas in Vilnius . From 2013 to 2015 he was the deputy mayor of the Ukmergė district .
From 2003 he was a member of Darbo partija .
