Rolandas Kriščiūnas
Rolandas Kriščiūnas (born October 16, 1970 in Panevėžys ) is a Lithuanian diplomat , ambassador and former politician ( vice minister ).
Life
In 1993 he completed a bachelor's degree in business informatics at Vytautas Magnus University and in 1995 European Studies at the Clingersaelo Institute in The Hague and in 1996 a master’s degree in economics from Ohio University . In 2008 he continued his education in Sweden . From 1993 he worked in the economic department in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania , from 1998 to 2001 in the embassy in the USA. From 2001 he worked in the Ministry of Finance , from 2009 to 2012 he was Deputy Minister of Finance. From December 2012 to August 2015 he was Deputy Foreign Minister in the Butkevičius cabinet . He is now the Lithuanian Ambassador to the United States.
