Rolf Bühner

Rolf Bühner (born August 7, 1944 in Bartenbach ) is a professor emeritus at the University of Passau . He held the chair for business administration with a focus on organization ( business organization theory ) and human resources .

Professional background

Bühner studied business administration at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität , Munich until 1970 and was then a research assistant to Prof. Dr. Friedrich Hoffmann at the University of Augsburg . In 1978 he received his doctorate (Dr. rer. Pol.) And completed his habilitation at the local economics and social science faculty. After stays abroad and a substitute chair, he was appointed to the chair for business administration with a focus on organization and human resources at the University of Passau in 1980. He has remained loyal to this despite repeated calls from other leading universities. He retired in the 2010 summer semester.
