Rolf Gildenast
Rolf Gildenast (born March 26, 1965 in Neuss ; † July 14, 2012 in Ardnatrush , Ireland ) was a German artist in the fields of dance, theater education and poetry .
Career
Gildenast completed a dance training in Hanover, was a solo dancer at the Stadttheater Gießen from 1987 to 1993 , from 1993 to 2001 a solo dancer at the Musiktheater im Revier in Gelsenkirchen and from 2001 until his death he was active in his own project theatergildenast . In it he played theater, danced and sang for and with children and young people. Gildenast lived with his family in Gelsenkirchen.
On July 14, 2012, Rolf Gildenast had a fatal accident at the age of 47 while on vacation in Ireland. Gildenast was buried on July 24, 2012 in the East Cemetery in Gelsenkirchen .
His daughter Alma Gildenast took over the management of his theatergildenast after her father's death .
