Rolf Koepke

Rolf Koepke (* 5. February 1949 in Hamburg ) is a German politician of the SPD and former member of the Hamburg Parliament .

Life and politics

Köpke completed his second education at the Hamburg University of Economics and Politics (HWP). He is married and has two children.

In the 70s and 80s he worked for the Hamburg Jusos on the state board. He has been a member of the SPD since 1971.

In the 15th electoral term from 1993 to 1997 he was a member of the Hamburg Parliament. Among other things, he sat on the health committee and the urban development committee. His other priorities were traffic, social and foreign policy. He also participated in the Enquête Commission on Urban Development and in the Parliamentary Committee of Inquiry (PUA) "Hamburg Police" . The PUA was supposed to shed light on the police scandals of the 80s and 90s in the Hamburg police force.

Social Commitment

In addition to the party-political level, Köpke was involved in "his" district of Altona-Altstadt . One of his concerns was the support of disadvantaged population groups, work with migrant associations and refugee work . He was also active in social district work, e.g. B. Co-initiator of the model project: "Children in the inner city".
