Rolf Knipper

Rolf Knipper (born May 22, 1955 in Burscheid , † February 17, 2008 in Leverkusen ) was one of the most famous model railroaders in Germany and other European countries.

Rolf Knipper became known through many publications in specialist magazines, but also his own model railway systems and projects, such as the system “the Elberfeld project”, the “Mariensiel” or the Fehmarn model railway .

He not only wrote reports for magazines, but also books on details and special techniques of model railway construction.
