Rolf Konrad

Rolf Konrad (born November 13, 1924 in Berlin ; † November 30, 1990 there ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

Rolf Konrad attended primary school and trained as a motor vehicle blacksmith . In 1953 he became chairman of the works council of the Waggon Union and joined the SPD in 1958. In 1959 he became the full-time trade union secretary of IG Metall in Berlin and at the same time also an honorary judge at the Berlin Labor Court and the Berlin State Labor Court . In the Berlin election in 1967 Konrad was elected to the district assembly in the Wedding district. In the next election in 1971 he was elected to the Berlin House of Representatives, in 1979 he left parliament.
