Rolf Krieger (born March 31, 1940 in Siegburg ) is a German CDU politician .

education and profession

After graduating from high school in 1959, Rolf Krieger studied French and geography at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn from 1960 to 1963 and from 1965 to 1967 and at the University of Grenoble (France) in 1963/64 . In 1969 he passed his assessor exam. In 1972 he became a teacher, in 1975 a senior teacher and in 1986 director of studies at the grammar school.

politics

Rolf Krieger has been a member of the CDU since 1964. Since 1979 he has been chairman of the city association in Siegburg. He was a member of the council of the city of Siegburg from November 17, 1969 to January 31, 1995 and from May 4, 1975 to November 2, 1994 a member of the district assembly of the Rhein-Sieg district . Krieger was honorary mayor of the district town of Siegburg from 1989 to January 31, 1995, from February 1, 1995 to 2004 he was full-time mayor, his successor was Franz Huhn . He is deputy chairman of the district planning council of the district president of Cologne and a member of the CDA .

From May 31, 1990, Rolf Krieger was a member of the 11th state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia , which he entered via the state list and from which he left on January 31, 1995.
