Rolf Massin

Rolf Massin (born August 27, 1939 in Teplitz ; † March 30, 2020 in Salles-d'Aude ) was a German author and philosopher .

He first studied philology in Munster, London and Dijon before obtaining a doctorate in philosophy. On behalf of the Foreign Office, he supervised African German teachers in Upper Volta and Senegal for many years. The former director of studies was the regional chairman of the Association of German Language (VDS) in southern France, and for more than 20 years he was the first chairman of the Society for the Promotion of European City Partnerships.

On behalf of the Federal Foreign Office, Rolf Massin acted as co-author of the four-volume textbook Ihr und Wir . He fell victim to the coronavirus in March 2020 .
