Rolf Nonnenmacher

Rolf Nonnenmacher (born July 6, 1954 in Stuttgart ) is a German auditor . He held managerial positions for KPMG until 2013 and is now a member of the supervisory board and chairman of the audit committee of several large companies.

Life

Nonnenmacher was employed by KPMG from 1981 to 2013, since 1987 as a partner, since 1998 as a member and from 2005 to 2011 as spokesman of the board of management of KPMG Germany , from 2007 to 2013 as chairman of KPMG EMA Region (Europe, Middle East, Africa and South Asia).

Nonnenmacher is a member of the Supervisory Board and Chairman of the Audit Committee of Continental AG (since 2014), Covestro AG (since 2015) and ProSiebenSat1 Media SE (since 2015).

Nonnenmacher is honorary professor for auditing at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main .

From 2000 to 2001 Nonnenmacher was a member of the Government Commission on Corporate Governance ( Baums Commission), whose recommendations formed the basis for the German Corporate Governance Code . Nonnenmacher has been a member of the Government Commission on the German Corporate Governance Code since July 2016 and took over the chairmanship in March 2017.

Nonnemacher was chairman of the board of the Gesellschaft für Unternehmensgeschichte eV, Frankfurt and the foundation Pinakothek der Moderne , Munich.

Nonnenmacher is married and has three daughters.
