Rolf Praml
Rolf Praml (born September 18, 1948 in Frankenthal (Palatinate) ) is a German lawyer, local politician ( SPD ) and former State Secretary in Hesse.
biography
Rolf Praml studied law at the Universities of Mannheim and Heidelberg .
Praml initially worked in the Hessian Ministry for Environment and Energy from 1981 to 1986. In 1986 he moved to Nuremberg as head of the environment. In 1991 he returned to Wiesbaden as State Secretary in the Hessian Ministry for Regional Development, Housing, Agriculture and Nature Conservation. In 1995 he moved to the Hessian Ministry of Science and Art as State Secretary and resigned in 1999. Afterwards he was a senior executive at Deutsche Telekom AG until 2006. He has been practicing as a lawyer since 2007.
From 1997 to 2005 he represented his party in the city council of Wiesbaden . In 1997 and 2003 he ran for the office of Lord Mayor of the Hessian state capital .
