Rolf Steffenburg (born March 14, 1886 in Gävle , † March 18, 1982 in Stockholm ) was a Swedish sailor and banker.
successes
Rolf Steffen Castle, for the kanot Kullaviks och kappsegling klubb ( Kullaviks KKK ) sailed, was in 1920 in Antwerp at the Olympic Games in the 30-m-class Olympic champion . Alongside Gösta Bengtsson, he was a member of the crew of the Kullan , which was the only boat in its class to participate. Steffenburg, Bengtsson and skipper Gösta Lundquist sufficed in three races to reach the goal to win the gold medal.
Rolf Steffenburg graduated from the University of Karlstad in 1906 with the academic degree Diplom. He then worked at various banks in Gothenburg and Stockholm. In 1943 Steffenburg was appointed director of Svenska Handelsbanken . He was also an excellent canoe sailor .
