Gösta Ragnar Bengtsson (born July 25, 1897 in Gothenburg , † January 19, 1984 in Stockholm ) was a Swedish sailor .

successes

Gösta Bengtsson, who for the kanot Kullaviks och kappsegling klubb ( Kullaviks KKK ) sailed, was in 1920 in Antwerp at the Olympic Games in the 30-m-class Olympic champion . Alongside Rolf Steffenburg, he was a member of the crew of the Kullan , which was the only boat in its class to take part. Bengtsson, Steffenburg and skipper Gösta Lundquist sufficed in three races to reach the goal to win the gold medal.
