Rolf Theißen

Rolf Theißen (* 1956 in Krefeld ) is a German lawyer, notary and specialist lawyer for building and architectural law .

Career

Theissen was admitted to the bar and obtained his doctorate in 1990. Since 1998 he has also been a lecturer in building law and public procurement law at the Beuth University of Technology (formerly: Technical University of Applied Sciences) in Berlin. In 1999 he was admitted as a notary. Since 2005 he has been a specialist lawyer and chairman of the specialist lawyers committee for construction law and architects law of the Berlin Bar Association.

Theißen specializes in advising and representing public and commercial clients in the areas of construction law as well as real estate and infrastructure law. He is co-editor of a commentary on the fee schedule for architects and engineers (HOAI) and author and co-author of numerous specialist book publications (including the VOB / B sample form collection). Since 1995 he has been giving lectures and seminars in the areas of construction, real estate and public procurement law .

Theißen is a founding partner of Theißen Stollhoff & Partner mbB. He is chairman of the specialist lawyers' committee for building and architects law of the Berlin Bar Association and a member of the building court day.
