Rolf W. Puster

Rolf W. Puster (born March 6, 1957 in Mannheim ) is professor of philosophy at the University of Hamburg .

Life

Rolf W. Puster studied philosophy and German at the University of Mannheim from 1976 to 1982 . In 1989 he received his doctorate in philosophy ( British Gassendi reception using the example of John Lockes ), and in 1997 his habilitation in philosophy ( “One can not say ...”. Historical-systematic studies on language-analytical argumentation and its metaphysical requirements ). Puster has been Professor of Philosophy at the University of Hamburg since 2003. From 1983 to 1985 Puster was a scholarship holder of the Volkswagenwerk Foundation .

Puster is a supporter of liberalism or libertarianism . The FDP , however, he faces critical, since they do not represent his opinion freely intimate ideas and decided to have made among others by "lobbying clientelism" implausible.
