Roman Andreevich Maximov
Roman Andrejewitsch Maximow ( Russian Роман Андреевич Максимов ; born March 2, 1988 ) is a former Russian track and road cyclist .
Roman Maximow won the silver medal in the team sprint and the bronze medal in the team pursuit at the European Junior Track Cycling Championships . At the Junior World Championship in Vienna he won the bronze medal in the points race. In the 2006 season he won two parts of the Cup of Grudziadz Town President stage race.
In 2007 Maximow drove for the Russian Continental Team Moscow Stars , for which he won a stage at the Vuelta a Salamanca. In the 2008 season he was successful with his Italian club team Cycling Team Friuli in the Italian one-day race Trofeo Banca Popolare Piva .
