Roman Hogen (born December 17, 1970 in Prague ) is a former Czech football player .
Career
Hogen started playing football in the Satalice district of Prague . In his youth he also played for Sparta Prague , Meteor Prague , RH Domažlice and Škoda Pilsen , and in 1991 the striker was signed by Chmel Blšany . After two years in Blšany , in the meantime the attacker had completed tests at VfB Stuttgart , Hogen was loaned out to the first division club Viktoria Žižkov in the 1993/94 season, for whom he only played three games. The Prague team failed to take advantage of the opportunity to sign the striker for one and a half million crowns, after which Chmel Blšany ordered him back.
A little later, Sparta Prague was interested in Hogen and came to an agreement with the former youth player, but they couldn't agree on the transfer fee with Blšany . In April 1994, Slavia Prague finally announced and after several months reached an agreement with Hogens previous club in mid-July, the player signed a three-year contract.
The attacker spent the following year and a half at Slavia Prague, with whom he became Czech champion in 1996. In the championship season he only played five games and returned to Chmel Blšany during the winter break in 1995/96 . In the second division season 1996/97 Hogen scored eleven goals in 28 games and was then signed on loan from 1. FC Nürnberg . On the first day of the 2. Bundesliga 1997/98 the striker scored in the game against FC Gütersloh , but after that he was only substituted three times. After a year, the club ended the misunderstanding.
Hogen went back to his homeland, Chmel Blšany now played in the country's first division . In the game year after his return, Hogen met nine times, but then his hit rate steadily decreased, in autumn 2000 he was loaned to his old youth club, the fourth division club Pragis Satalice, to get match practice. After a few months, Hogen returned to Blšany, in the 2001/02 season he still scored eight goals. In the following year he scored no goal in ten first round games and moved in early 2003, this time for good, to Pragis Satalice, who signed up at the end of the season from the fourth division and only registered in the seventh division. In 2010 he ended his active career.
