Roman Valeryevich Murtasajew ( Russian Роман Валерьевич Муртазаев ; born September 10, 1993 in Karagandy , Kazakhstan ) is a Kazakh football player who has been under contract with Tobyl Qostanai in the Premjer League since 2020 .

Roman Murtasajew, the 1993 in Karaganda was born, played in his youth at Shakhtar Karaganda . After he was used in the second team of Shakhtar in 2012, coach Viktor Kumykov brought him to the club's professional team in the 2012 season . In the game against Ertis Pavlodar he was on October 28, 2012 for the first time in the first team, but was not used. In the 2013 season he already played 16 games and scored his first two goals in the Premjer League on August 3, 2013 in the home game against Aqschajyq Oral (4-0). In the Champions League Murtasajew had his debut on July 16, 2013 in the encounter with BATE Baryssau ; he scored his first goal in European club competition against KF Skënderbeu Korça on July 30, 2013.

After Shakhtar Karagandy was in danger of relegation again in the 2015 season , Murtasajew moved to league rivals Ertis Pavlodar in December 2015 , where he received a one-year contract. He made his debut for the club on the first day of the 2016 season against Oqschetpes Kökschetau (1-0). Murtasajew played as a regular for Pavlodar all 32 league games of the season and scored a total of 18 goals. In the goalscorer list of the Kazakh Premier League he was at the end of the season in second place; only Gerard Gohou scored more goals.

In August 2016, FK Astana announced the move of Roman Murtasajew to the capital club at the end of the season. There he was given a three-year contract.

National team

Between 2013 and 2014, Murtasajew completed a total of 20 games for the Kazakh U-21 national team . He made his senior national team debut on June 7, 2016 in a friendly against China when he came on as a substitute in the 76th minute. He scored his first international goal on March 23, 2018 in the Groupama Aréna by scoring 1-0 in the 6th minute in a 3-2 win in the friendly against the Hungarian team .
