Roman Serbyn

Roman Serbyn (Russian: Роман Сербин; born March 21, 1939 in Viktoriw , Soviet Union ) is a Canadian historian .

Life

In 1948 his family emigrated to Canada from the Soviet Union. After studying at McBill University and the Sorbonne in France , he taught at the Université du Québec à Montréal from 1969 to 2002 .

His specialties are Russian and Ukrainian history .
