Romana Tomc
Romana Tomc (born November 2, 1965 in Ljubljana ) is a Slovenian politician of the Slovenian Democratic Party .
Life
Romana Tomc studied economics at the University of Ljubljana . She worked for the Slovenian Chamber of Commerce and Industry for ten years. She was head of the Directorate for Labor and Labor Law and was then State Secretary in the Ministry of Labor, Family and Social Affairs. Tomc was Vice-President of the Slovenian National Assembly .
Tomc has been a member of the European Parliament since 2014 . There she is Vice-Chair of the Delegation for Relations with Japan and a member of the Employment and Social Affairs Committee .
