The Roman court is a court in Munich's Nymphenburg , situated approximately 200 meters east of Nymphenburg Palace and approximately four kilometers northwest of the city center.

The Barmherzige Brüder Hospital (and, until it burns down, the culture pavilion on Romanplatz ) lies on him . The parish church of Christ the King is also nearby . In 2019, Romanplatz will be redesigned to become a quarter square .

The Volksgarten Nymphenburg was located on Romanplatz from 1890 to 1916 , at that time the largest amusement park in Germany.

The elongated square got its name in 1903. It goes back to Rudolph Freiherr von Roman zu Schernau , the then head of the Munich district office left der Isar, the approval authority for road construction.

In 1928 the station house was built with the now closed public lavatory on Romanplatz.

On March 13, 2017, the culture pavilion on Romanplatz burned down to the ground.

From March 2019 the Romanplatz will be redesigned. In the course of this, the station house was demolished.
