The Roman road is about 1.8 km long city road in the Munich district Neuhausen-Nymphenburg .

description

It begins on Nymphenburger Straße near Grünwaldpark and ends on Hirschgartenallee. It runs from east to west, parallel to the south of the Nymphenburg Canal with a northern and southern access avenue . The Romanplatz lies on her . The street is characterized by villas from the late 19th century, which are particularly concentrated around the Neuwittelsbach roundabout (see also: Neuwittelsbach villa colony ). history

The Volksgarten Nymphenburg was located on Romanplatz from 1890 to 1916 .

Romanstrasse was named in 1903 after Rudolf Ernst Philipp August Freiherr von Roman . It is part of the Neuhausen-Nymphenburg Cultural History Trail .
