Romary Rifka

Maria Romary Rifka González (born December 25, 1970 in Poza Rica de Hidalgo , Veracruz state ) is a Mexican high jumper .

On July 25, 2007, she was the first Mexican gold medalist in the women's high jump at the Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro , Brazil. Her height of victory was 1.95 meters. She achieved her personal best on April 4, 2004 in her home in Xalapa with a height of 1.97 meters.

Romary Rifka is married to the Mexican 400-meter runner Alejandro Cárdenas .
