Ron Blackney
Ron Blackney (actually Ronald Leslie Blackney; born April 23, 1933 , † June 14, 2008 ) was an Australian obstacle runner .
At the Olympic Games in Melbourne in 1956 he was eliminated in the preliminary stages, and at the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Perth in 1962 he won bronze.
In 1963 he was Australian champion. He set his personal best of 8: 49.8 minutes on March 4, 1964 in Melbourne .
