Ronald "Ron" Jonkhans (born February 19, 1960 ) is a former Canadian ice hockey player who played as a striker in the ice hockey Bundesliga for various clubs.

career

Ron Jonkhans began his professional career in Germany in 1980 with the Schwenninger ERC in the 2nd Bundesliga ice hockey . With 30 goals he was one of the guarantors for the team's promotion to the ice hockey Bundesliga. In 1983 he moved to EA Kempten in the 2nd ice hockey Bundesliga, but after two years in Kempten (Allgäu) returned to the ice hockey Bundesliga at ESV Kaufbeuren . After only one year he moved back to Schwenningen to leave this team again after a year for Mannheim . The brawny striker scored a total of 60 goals and 62 assists in 162 games in Schwenningen. With the Mannheim ERC he was in the 1986/87 season under coach Ladislav Olejník German ice hockey runner-up . For the team from Mannheim he scored a total of 26 times in 126 games. In 1989 Jonkhans moved to EV Landshut , but ended his career after a year.
