Ronald Eric Bishop , (* 1903 ; † 1989 ) was a British aircraft designer . He worked for the De Havilland Aircraft Company from 1921 , where he designed all of this manufacturer's major aircraft until the 1950s , including the Mosquito and the De Havilland Comet .
