Ronald JC Broadhurst

Ronald Joseph Callender Broadhurst (born December 25, 1906 in Sidcup , England , † 1976 ) was a British brigadier general who also made a name for himself as a translator of Arabic literature. He translated the travel books of Ibn Jubayr , the memoirs of King Abdullah of Transjordan and the history of the Ayyubid - Sultans in Egypt by Al-Maqrizi into English.
