Ronny Kretschmer

Ronny Kretschmer (born June 23, 1975 in Neuruppin , GDR ) is a German politician ( PDS , Die Linke ). In the state elections in Brandenburg in 2019 , he received a mandate in the Brandenburg state parliament .

Life

Ronny Kretschmer grew up in Wildberg and passed the Abitur exam in 1995. After his community service, he completed training as a nurse by 1999 and was involved in the works council at the Ruppiner clinics . From 2014 to 2020 he was the state treasurer of the Left.

Kretschmer is married and has two children.

Kretschmer joined the PDS in 1993. From 1999 to 2009 he served as chairman of the Neuruppin city association of his party, then from 2009 to 2015 as chairman of the Ostprignitz-Ruppin district association. Since 2003 he has been a member of the city council of Neuruppin. He is a member of the district council of the Ostprignitz-Ruppin district .
