Roos is an English village in the East Riding of Yorkshire with 1,168 inhabitants. It is 12 miles from the center of Kingston upon Hull and 3.7 miles from the small town of Withernsea . Roos is made up of the sub-areas Roos, Hilston, Tunstall and the hamlet of Owstwick.
