Roque Costa Souza
Roque Costa Souza (born August 19, 1966 in Rio de Janeiro , Brazil ) is a Brazilian clergyman and Roman Catholic auxiliary bishop in Rio de Janeiro .
Life
Roque Costa Souza received the sacrament of ordination for the Archdiocese of São Sebastião do Rio de Janeiro on June 14, 1994 through Archbishop Eugênio Cardinal de Araújo Sales .
On May 9, 2012, Pope Benedict XVI appointed him . the titular bishop of Castellum medianum and ordered him to auxiliary bishop in Rio de Janeiro. The Archbishop of São Sebastião do Rio de Janeiro, Orani Tempesta OCist , donated him episcopal ordination on June 23 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Nova Friburgo , Edney Gouvêa Mattoso , and the auxiliary bishop emeritus in Rio de Janeiro, Assis Lopes .
