Rory Watt is a retired New Zealand squash player .

Career

Rory Watt was active on the PSA tour in the late 1980s and early 1990s . He achieved his best placement in the world rankings with rank 14 in January 1990. With the New Zealand national team , he took part in 1987 , 1989 and 1991 world championships. In 1987 he reached the final with New Zealand against Pakistan , which was lost 3-0. Watt was not used in the final. From 1988 to 1990 he was three times in a row in the main field of the individual world championships. In all three participations he reached the round of 16. In 1987 and 1990 he was New Zealand runner-up .

After his playing career, Rory Watt became a squash coach.
