Rosamunde Quartet
The Rosamunde Quartet was a German string quartet founded in 1992, which existed until 2009. Members were Andreas Reiner and Diane Pascal (violin), Helmut Nicolai (viola) and Anja Lechner (violoncello). The name of the ensemble goes back to Franz Schubert's string quartet No. 13 “Rosamunde” .
His z. Repertoire, some of which were also released on CD, ranged from Henry Purcell and Joseph Haydn to new music ( Thomas Larcher , Tigran Mansurjan ) and world music ( Dino Saluzzi ). A recording of works by the composer Valentin Silvestrov was nominated for a Grammy in 2003 .
