Rosemarie Fuhrmann

Rosemarie Fuhrmann , b. Nitsch , (born January 29, 1936 in Staatshausen ) is a former German athlete.

Fuhrmann started for the Post-SG Mannheim . In 1957 she was sixth at the German Forest Run Championships and runner-up in the team standings (with Hannelore Dörr and Marlene Orth). From 1958 to 1960 she reached the finals over 400 meters and achieved fourth place as the best result. In 1961 Fuhrmann was runner-up in the forest run and third in the 800-meter run . The following year she was runner-up in the hall over 800 meters and third in the open air. In 1963 she was able to take second place again in the hall. A year later she was third in the team ranking in the forest run (with Sigrid König and Fleckenstein). In 1969 she was able to win the German championship in 6: 41.4 minutes in Hanover with the 3 x 800 meter relay of the Post-SG Mannheim ( Sigrid Rosenberger , Rosemarie Fuhrmann, Anita Rottmüller ). In the same year, the three Mannheim women won the team title in the forest run in Plattling.

Fuhrmann set her personal best over 400 meters in 1962 with 57.9 seconds, her best time over 800 meters comes from 1961 with 2: 11.1 minutes.
