Rosemarie Schönpass

Rosemarie Schönpass (born August 26, 1952 in Haag am Hausruck ) is an Austrian politician ( SPÖ ) and a former member of the Austrian National Council .

education and profession

Schönpass attended primary school in Attersee from 1958 to 1962 and then the secondary school in St. Georgen im Attergau until 1966 . After completing the polytechnic course in 1966/67, Schönpass learned the trade of industrial clerk from 1967 to 1970. From 1995 to 1997 she graduated from the specialist academy for business administration / controlling.

After completing her apprenticeship, Schönpass worked as a secretary from 1970 to 1973 and as an accountant and payroll clerk from 1976 to 1982. She then worked from 1982 to 2002 as a clerk and technical assistant.

politics

Schönpass was a councilor in Ampflwang im Hausruckwald from 1985 to 1991 and a member of the council from 1991 to 1997. From 1997 to 2015 she held the office of mayor. On December 20, 2002 Schönpass was sworn in as a member of the National Council, of which she was a member until the end of the XXIV legislative period. In addition, she was district chairwoman of the SPÖ Vöcklabruck from 2002 to 2013.

Private

Rosemarie Schönpass is married and has two children.
