Rosemary Tinius

Rosemarie Tinius (born February 11, 1945 in Langugest in the district of Bilin , today Jenišův Újezd , Czech Republic ) is a German politician (SPD).

education and profession

After attending school, Tinius completed a commercial apprenticeship and then worked in wholesale and foreign trade. Later she did further training as a teacher and from 1970 taught at elementary, secondary and secondary schools in Lower Saxony. From 1974 until her election to the state parliament she was a teacher at the Ilsede grammar school . In addition, she was active in adult education.

politics

Tinius has been a member of the SPD since 1981 . She is the chairwoman of the Lahstedt local association and is a member of the executive board of the Peine subdistrict. Since 1986 she has been a member of the district council in the district of Peine . From 1994 to 2008 Tinius was a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament . She is a member of the education and science trade union , the workers' welfare , the European Union and the social association Germany .
