Rosemarie Wemheuer

Rosemarie Wemheuer (born May 6, 1950 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a German politician ( SPD ).

Wemheuer earned a Master of Arts degree through studies in sociology and recent history . The sociologist, a member of the SPD since 1973, was a member of the district committee of the SPD Braunschweig and was a co-opted member of the board of the SPD Lower Saxony . From 1994 to 1999 she was a member of the European Parliament . There she was a deputy member of the Committee on Budgets and the Committee on Civil Liberties and Internal Affairs, as well as a member of the Committee on Budgetary Control and permanent rapporteur on anti-fraud issues.
