Rosmit mantilla

Rosmit Mantilla (born December 13, 1982 in Petare , Miranda ) is a Venezuelan politician of the Voluntad Popular .

Life

Mantilla studies social communication in Caracas and lives with his grandparents. Together with the politicians Renzo Prieto and Gilberto Sojo , he was imprisoned as a political prisoner in Venezuela in 2014 . Prosecutors have charged Rosmit with inciting and intimidating the public, blocking a highway, setting fire to public and private buildings, vandalism and criminal organization - crimes for which the prosecution is demanding 35 years imprisonment . The organization Amnesty International believes that the prosecution has not presented any evidence linking Rosmit Mantilla with the crimes for which he is charged, in connection and that his prolonged detention is politically motivated. Like Prieto and Sojo in 2015, Mantilla was elected as a member of the National Assembly in the parliamentary elections in Venezuela in 2015 . Mantilla is active as an LGBT activist in Caracas, Venezuela.
