The Ross Glacier is a 10 km long glacier on South Georgia . It flows in an easterly direction from Ross Pass between the Allardyce Range and the Salvesen Range to Little Moltke Harbor in Royal Bay on the north coast of the island.
A German research group mapped the glacier during the First International Polar Year (1882–1883). It is named after the British polar explorer James Clark Ross (1800–1862).
