Rossella Izzo

Rossella Izzo (born April 22, 1953 in Rome ) is an Italian television director and voice actress .

Life

Izzo, daughter of the dubbing director Renato Izzo , started dubbing films at an early age through her father. After her school days she was active as a cabaret artist and singer and was still the Italian voice of u. a. Michelle Pfeiffer , Susan Sarandon , Meryl Streep and Isabelle Adjani . For the "Gruppo Trenta" she followed in her father's footsteps as a director, then she was successful as a television director from 1996; successful series with Caro maestro and Una donna per amico were among them. In 1987 she had Simona with her twin sisterwritten and directed a movie. Even after 2000 she shot successful mini-series and with Provaci ancora prof! a series broadcast over several years.
