Renato Izzo

Renato Izzo (born July 15, 1929 in Rome , † July 30, 2009 ibid) was an Italian voice actor , actor and screenwriter .

Life

Izzo has dubbed more than a thousand films and has been the Italian voice of Gregory Peck , Paul Newman and Alain Delon in many films . With his wife he founded a company, Gruppo Trenta , for the history of dubbing . He also wrote several scripts, some of them for director Gianfranco Parolini ; He played a handful of roles in front of the camera.

In 2007 he received the Gran Premio Internazionale del Doppiaggio and the Gran Galà del Doppiaggio - Romics 2007 prize for his life's work .

His four children (including the twin sisters Simona and Rossella ) also work in the synchronized business.
