Simona Izzo

Simona Izzo (born April 22, 1953 in Rome ) is an Italian screenwriter , film director and actress .

Life

Izzo, twin sister of Rossella and daughter of the dubbing director Renato Izzo, was like her sister active as a voice actress and began as an actress in television in the 1980s, where she was successful alongside Maurizio Costanzo in the sitcom Orazio . In 1987 she also turned to the cinema, staging the debut Parole e baci with her sister and writing several scripts, several times for Ricky Tognazzi . Her own films often had comedic themes and were successful with audiences. Maniaci sentimentali from 1994 received a David di Donatello .
