Roswitha Hollinger

Roswitha Hollinger (born May 19, 1945 in Altengottern ) is a German politician ( SPD ).

Life

After completing secondary school, Hollinger attended a women's technical college and then worked as an office manager for a state forestry office .

In 1974 she joined the SPD. From 1985 to 1993 she was the Saarland state chairwoman of the working group of social democratic women . From 1990 to 2000 she was in charge of the local SPD association in her home town of Ludweiler , and from 1992 to 2001 she was also chairwoman of the Völklingen SPD community association . From 1979 to 1985 she was a member of the Saarbrücken City Association . She was a member of the Saarland state parliament from 1985 to 2004. From 1990 she was second vice-president, from 1999 first vice-president of the state parliament.

Hollinger is involved on a voluntary basis, among other things, as the state chairman of the German Forest Protection Association and in Ludweiler associations. She is also a member of the Arbeiterwohlfahrt and Naturfreunde .
