Roswitha von Bergmann

Roswitha von Bergmann (born September 21, 1926 in Königsberg ; † April 1, 2004 in Düsseldorf ) was a German politician ( FDP ). From 1962 to 1970 she was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia .

Life and professional history

Roswitha von Bergmann had graduated from school in 1944 and then studied history, art history and newspaper studies in Heidelberg from 1946 to 1948 . She then worked as a secretary and journalist until 1961 .

Von Bergmann had been a member of the FDP since 1949. From 1952 to 1954 she was a member of the Bavarian State Executive Committee of the Young Democrats . From March 1961 to 1965 she was a citizen of the Düsseldorf city ​​council . In the state elections in 1962 and 1966 , von Bergmann was elected to the state parliament via the FDP state list. She was a member of the state parliament from July 23, 1962 to July 25, 1970.

In 1974 she became a member of the German UNESCO Commission.

Von Bergmann was a member of the board of trustees of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation from 1972 to 1982 .

Trivia

Roswitha von Bergmann was an enthusiastic Ferrari driver and was portrayed as such in 1986 with her Ferrari 400 in the ARD documentary "I Ferraristi" from the series "Deutschlandbilder".
