The house Rothenseer Straße 2 is a listed building in Magdeburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

It is located in the Alte Neustadt district of Magdeburg at the southern end of Rothensseer Straße, on the west side of it. To the south of the house is the listed building at Rothenseer Strasse 1 , to the north is the house at Rothenseer Strasse 2a .
Architecture and history
The four-and-a-half-story residential and commercial building was built around 1880/1890 using neo-Renaissance forms . The eight-axis facade of the representative plastered building has two two-axis flat side risalites that are decorated with stucco decoration. The windows of the main floor are provided with Fensterverdachungen. The roofs in the area of the side projections are pointed gables, the others are semicircular. There is a mezzanine floor with large lunette windows .
As part of a row of houses from the Wilhelminian era, the building is characteristic of the street.
In the local register of monuments , the house is listed as a monument under registration number 094 81874 .
