Rousham House

Rousham House is a country house and landscaped garden in Oxfordshire , England. It is on the Cherwell River about 18 km north of Oxford . The property has been owned by the Dormer family since the 17th century, and they still live there today. The landscape garden , begun in 1738, is more important than an early work by William Kent that has hardly changed .
