The Wernersche Verlagsgesellschaft (full name: Werner'sche Verlagsgesellschaft mbH ) is a specialist publisher in Worms with the main focus on art history .
history
The publishing house was founded in 1978 by Ferdinand Werner and Claus Reisinger . It has been based in Worms since 1982 . Since then, the publishing house has published more than 500 books , mainly from the field of art history and related topics such as monument preservation and archeology . To mark the 40th anniversary of the publishing house, an exhibition was held in the Worms City Library , which showed part of the publishing house production and materials for book production before the digital age from the holdings of the publishing house archive.
Products
The publisher publishes non-fiction books , illustrated books and exhibition catalogs. The main topics are architecture , architectural history , monument preservation , archeology and horticulture .
The publisher also publishes several specialist journals:
